La Spiga is a family-run room rental service with several simple and functional rooms, carefully furnished in a modern style. Our priorities are privacy, hospitality and cleanliness.
The rooms are divided between two structures which are close to each other.
Situated nearby Florence – about 15 minutes away by car or with city bus number 35 (bus stop "Baccellina 1", right out front) - La Spiga offers a stay particularly recommended for those who wish to visit the city without having to deal with parking problems.
In the immediate vicinity, in addition to being able to visit various works of art, you can pass a bit of time in the large shopping center "I Gigli".
LA SPIGA 1
La Spiga1 offers an ample room on the ground floor that is luminous, airy and comfortable, overlooking a wide green space.
The room
The room, simple and functional, can host up to a maximum of 5 people and has a private bathroom with shower. Heating is providing in the winter months and a fan in the summer. Rooms are cleaned every morning.
There is no curfew because at the moment of your arrival we will give you the keys both to the automatic external gate and to the room so that you will be independent and have access at any time of day or night.
LA SPIGA 2
La Spiga 2 hosts its guests in a small and comfortable independent house with 3 bedrooms – 2 sharing a bathroom and one with a private bathroom and courtyard.
The rooms
There are three rooms, all very spacious, one located on the ground floor (with private bathroom), and two on the floor above (with a shared bathroom). Furnished in a simple and practical manner all rooms have heating and color TV. The rooms are cleaned each morning.
Upon your arrival we will give you the keys to the front door and to the room so that you will be independent and have access at any time of day or night.
Breakfast is not provided but nearby there are two cafés/pastry shops.
Small bed for children from 0-3 provided free of charge on request.
We ask you to please communicate to us your arrival time so that we can meet you, as we do not live in the building.

From the central train station of Florence (Santa Maria Novella) take city bus number 35 and get off at "Baccellina 1" stop.
